Hotels are often the best locations for Boudoir Photoshoots. Before you spend your money on renting them, here are 5 tips to make the investment worth while.
2) Find a space with great window light. The bigger the window the better! Boudoir photoshoots can look really beautiful in natural light. Natural light allows the subject to move around more freely without having to move your light source every time.
3) Try to get the largest room that you can. If you can get a suite then that's a total bonus! This will give you ample space to place your gear and give your model room for their stuff. Plus, you will have the option to shoot in more than one space. Don't forget the shower can create a really sexy shot for your client!
4) Think about the design of the room. Does the room look sleek and modern, romantic, classic or super tacky? The hotel doesn't need to be fancy, just clean with no elements that would distract from your subject.
5) Keep a look out for specials. Since hotels will be an indoor photoshoot, you are not dependent on weather so figure what offers hotels are giving and schedule a time when you can save some money.
